Facilitator Training for Formats
This training is a specific follow-up to Orange Gibbon’s Facilitation Skills Training. It teaches facilitators the ins and outs of 4 formats. At the end of the training facilitators will be able to use the formats for group work. They will receive a certificate testifying to their proven abilities to work with these formats.
Reason for the trainingOrange Gibbon wants to bring Meeting Design to the Asian market. Well-designed meetings, events and meeting sessions require expert moderation and facilitation. Therefore, in Taiwan, OG trains facilitators, able to work with clients in Mandarin.
A low-threshold way of familiarizing clients with Meeting Design, is to offer them formatted sessions. The downside risk for clients is smaller than for the design of complete meeting programmes and it is easier to imagine how a single session format works than for an entire event. Such sessions, though, equally require expert facilitation. That is why OG now invites a limited number of trained facilitators to the opportunity to learn how to work with such formats in practice. The FormatsThe training will prepare participants to facilitate the following formats:
Contents of the trainingTo learn to work with these formats, we will cover the following attention points for each of the four:
